Salicylic acid peel is a cleansing to help treat acne, color changes, and create smooth clear skin.
Things to expect: Your skin will be slightly white and red for today and tomorrow. It may resemble having a sunburn. The peel won’t typically have large flakes of skin “peel” off. The feeling will be more of fine coffee grains removed with washing of the skin. A lack of peeling doesn’t mean the peel isn’t working.
Things to avoid: SUN! Limit sun exposure as much as you can for the next week. Make up can resume the next day. Don’t use any retinoids for 2 weeks.
How do I care for this: Aftercare is simple. Avoid the sun and resume make up the next day.
Use a gentle cleanser every evening and sunscreen in the morning.
